Climbing Kilimanjaro

A Metaphor for Living

In addition to what has been said, recently I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It was the last adventure on my bucket list and my 69th birth day gift to myself.

On October 20, 2017 I celebrated my birthday at Stella Point the second highest point on the mountain (15,000 feet) It took me 8 days to get up there. It was a challenge, a huge accomplishment and something I could not have done without the financial support of family, encouragement of friends and the legacy of winning against the odds left by the ancestors.
